A: Hey, let’s eat out tonight.
B: What’s the occasion?  You won the lottery?
A: No, just wanna relax a little bit.  You don’t have to win the lottery to relax, do you?
B: Well, I’m kind of broke.
A: Really?  It’s very nice of you.
B: Don’t be silly.  I’ll take you anywhere you want to go.
A: Wonderful!  You know what?  I wish you wanted to relax everyday.
B: Dream on!

A: Oh, that’s great! The washing machine is out of order again.
B: You can try another one. That one works.
A: But I’m out of quarters.
B: Did you press the coin release lever?
A: Yeah, but nothing happened. I’ve got to complain because this has happened so many times.

A: Oh, that’s great! I just lost another 50 cents in this stupid vending machine.
B: I’m not surprised. It’s always out of order.
A: Yeah. It eats my money relentlessly.
B: OK. Let me try. You know what? Whenever things like this don’t work, hit it. And it’ll work.
A: You mean, SOMETIMES!
B: (Hitting the vending machine hard.) Bang! Bang! Bang! Hmmm…it usually works.
A: Let’s put a sign on it so that the same thing doesn’t happen to others.

A: Excuse me?
B: Yes, can I help you?
A: Yes.  I need to get some change for the parking meter.  May I have change for a five dollar bill?  I just need five dollars in quarters.
B: I’m sorry, but we’re not allowed to give change.
A: Oh.  That’s too bad!  Is there a change machine somewhere around here?
B: There is one in the shopping mall across the street.
A: Well, that’s too far.  I may have a ticket when I come back.  What the heck….I’ll buy a candy bar.

A: May I help you, Miss?
B: Yes. I have some coins that I need to change.
A: That’s great! I can use some change. I’m almost out.
B: You must be very busy today, I guess.
A: We’re always busy, but today it’s crazy. Now, how do you want it?

A: Do you have change for a dollar?
B: Yes, you’re in luck.  I do have some.  What do you need it for?
A: I need some change for the bus.
B: How do you want it?
A: I need a couple of quarters and five dimes.
